Easy Removal Guide for Adhesive Mounts
To remove the adhesive mount, start by applying gentle heat with a hairdryer on a low setting to soften the adhesive. Use dental floss or plastic card to carefully peel from the edges. Remove any residue with adhesive remover or rubbing alcohol, and finish with glass cleaner for a clear surface.

Was looking for a strongest adhesive pad. Not strongest like it states. Phone holder didn’t stay on the dashboard very long. Disappointed!!

Great for a variety of uses. I got these pads for a replacement dashcam in my truck. I wanted some new stick pads for the mount, and these have worked out really well. The 3M adhesive is really strong. It adheres well to most surfaces, and it holds tight under a significant amount of weight. It's nice that you get two different sizes, but having 1" and 3.5" sizes seems like an odd combination - why not have a size somewhere in the middle? I've had a few holders with 2" bases that won't work with the smaller size and are dwarfed by the larger pads. Oh well.The “adhesion promoter†is some kind of accelerant for the adhesive, but it smells like acetone and there are multiple warnings to wear gloves when using the wipes. The package says “These products are chemically hazardous, cause great damage to the skin and produce a range of allergic reactions,†so that’s a bit concerning, especially because they are designed like any other alcohol wipe, so there’s a high likelihood that someone would open the package without seeing the warning and potentially irritate their skin or cause an allergic reaction.So the 3M adhesive pads work well, but I’m not going to mess with the “adhesion promoter†wipes, personally.

These 3M VHB adhesive pads are incredibly strong! I used one to remount my dashcam and radar detector, and it's holding up perfectly. The kit comes with two sizes of pads, which is handy, and the included primer wipes help ensure a secure bond.The application process is straightforward: clean the surface, apply the primer, and stick on the pad. It's worth noting that the primer has a strong smell, but it dissipates quickly.I'm particularly impressed with how well these pads hold up in heat. My dash gets pretty hot in the summer, and the adhesive hasn't budged. I'm also planning to use these to mount a phone holder in my car. I found out that this is the same adhesive that police cars use for their equipment. If it can hold up to their rugged use it will easily be able to hold my dashcam and radar detector firmly in place.Overall, I'm very happy with these 3M adhesive pads. They're strong, easy to use, and perfect for mounting things in your car. Just be sure to read the warnings on the primer wipes!

This stuff is exactly what you need if you need to relocate a mounting point for a car phone holder. It works as good or better than the one that came with my very expensive mount. I was able to mount the holder on a car with a textured dash and this adhesive pad worked perfectly on the first try.Make sure you don't have some kind of dressing on the dash that makes it oily or slick since that likely won't work with any glue. I cleaned the spot I was going to mount mine with Isopropyl alcohol and then used the included wipes that came with the kit.Really pleased with performance, quality, and cost.
