It's professional grade tape , it turns unbelievably tight corners,has just the right amount of tack "strong but releases fairly easily " it's my go to tape for masking any pro finish application

Love this tape is shapes Perfectly for taping off areas to paint or exclude from painting on canvas. Using it for textured art project and works great.

Used this tape to make white walls on my golf cart tires. It was a game changer! I originally tried regular Frog tape to tape off the rounded tires. That didn't work out well at all; the tape was just to thick to get a good rounded look. I ordered the 1/8 inch tape first, but realized that may be too small, so I got the 1/4 inch tape for the initial taped off area, then I used the bigger Frog tape to tape up the rest of the tire. No leaks at all from the 3M vinyl tape. It had a nice crisp rounded line. The tires turned out great!

Yes, I'm using this for something the manufacturer probably never intended. We bagpipe players use tape to tune the chanter. We can put tape on the top of a chanter hole to make a a single note flatter sounding. We can adjust the reed higher or lower to change pitch of the entier chanter. It is a neverending process that is impacted by humidity and temperature.Yes, we pipers are a but...unusual...Most other tapes, such as electrical tape, duct tape, and some gaffers tapes, leave a residue and can slide under your fingers. This will change the pitch of a note. If that happens during a contest you just ensured you will place at the bottom.This tape leaves no residue and is very thin under your fingers. Unobstrusive. Doesn't slide when playing. So far this is the best tape I've ever used for this application. So, 5 stars all the way!No idea what else this stuff is normally used for, but it can make your day as a piper. I keep a roll in my pipe case and most of the folks in my band have switched to it. Comes in several colors too.

Excellent tackiness and easy to apply and adjust.I used this is as the ‘fine’ line to get a precise edge and then overlaid it with a wider masking tape to provide the overpaint protection.Did the job perfectly.

Recently I acquired a Challenger Scat Pack that I was debadging and refinishing to a different color.I wanted the car to have a retro look to the finish and painted striping that I was planning on putting under the clear of the paint rather than modern vinyl striping on the clear more common today. I purchased this tape to lay out the lines and crossed my fingers that I would get no bleed through when using solvent reduced base coat paint with it. I turned out amazing. This tape allows you to stretch when forming the radius of the stripe and can be pulled with tension to make a straight line. If surface is clean and using a tack cloth prior to laying tape it will stick nicely and not allow bleed through. Do your prep properly and you will have good results with this tape.
