Ohhhh these are excellent. I keep the sound on low so I can hear my coworkers if they need me. The headphones really cut down on the noise. No more bad headaches.

Get yourself a cheap pair of 3M hard hat-mount muffs and swap these on to them, add some gel cups and you’ve got a set of Bluetooth Peltors for a fraction of the cost.Upgrades: Improved sound quality, USB-C (IT’S ABOUT TIME!!!), added volume rocker (mixed value), much more comfortable compared to the previous model, more room inside means more comfort with safety glasses.The awful: The nannying volume limiter. I get that blasting music into your ears defeats the purpose of hearing protection, but good luck hearing anything if you double-protect with ear plugs, the volume limiter starts kicking in at just over half-volume.The other stuff: The battery life is FANTASTIC, charge it on the weekend and you’re good for the rest of the week, the Bluetooth is strong enough, I often forget I don’t have my phone in my pocket until I’m about 40 yards from my truck and the signal finally cuts. The formfactor is identical compared to other 3M headphones, so you can swap to gel ear cups for extra comfort, or swap them to a different headband or mount. And as always, 3M earmuffs are discreet, no blinking lights, no control panel, nothing that screams “I’m listening to something right now!†or “Break into my truck†when you leave it on your seat.

I normally don’t write negative reviews unless something really bothers me! Although comfortable enough and good at keeping loud noises out, the volume is so low, that you can’t really listen to music with external noise. Even in a quiet environment the volume seems low, and there’s nothing wrong with my hearing. I tried to find a way to increase the max volume to no avail, so SHAME on you 3M for deciding how loud one is allowed to hear music or videos! Let the consumer decide HOW LOUD they set it! My old 3M ear muffs were great!! unfortunately they died after 3 years! These are going back and Im shopping for something else!!

These do work. They protect your ears and you can have a conversation over Bluetooth with them, but the mic picks up so much background noise that they are really only good for hearing someone on the phone while you are in a loud environment. I have never been able to answer or end a call with the buttons, or skip a track or anything like that. Only the power button works. Good battery life. If I try to answer a call with my watch, the call doesn’t pick up on the headphones. Very inconvenient if you are using your hands. Reasonable comfortable. I have a pretty big head, and smaller ears. I hand wear these with a hard hat.

I bought these so that I could have some sound attenuation while I used my gas leaf blower, and listen to some tunes as well. At about half volume, I could hear the music above the gas blower sound. I got the separate gel ear pads which I think are much more comfortable. The battery is great; it stayed at 100% after about an hour of leaf blowing. It connects quickly and stays connected. I like these and will continue using them.

Nothing but good things to say about this headset. It has Improved sound quality, NRR 26 db, c type charger, 4 hour shut off to conserve battery, new features all over it, super comfy, snug, fits my big head. Wpuld like to see a gel earpad version. ( thick ones) good job on this 3M . No wonder it's priced higher.

You can’t make or receive calls on these. All you get is static. Doesn’t have good volume. I use them in a factory I don’t think for the price they are as good as the $44.00 work tunes. The cheaper version you can make and receive calls and the volume is better. Not very happy with the product for the money.
