I needed to straighten boards for building a table. I don't own a jointer and decided to build a jig instead. These clamps worked perfectly and exactly how I hoped they would. I was surprised at how well they held. The jig performed great for straightening a dozen boards.

Good clamps. I rated them three stars because one of them was missing the required washer for the bolt. I used a flat washer but I can’t use it for anything heavy duty as the washer will bend and eventually break. Other than that, these clamps are a good value.

I use these hold-down clamps to secure guitar fretboards in my fret slot cutting jig.They work even better than I was hoping for.Easy to install and easy to adjust the clamping pressure.I was using another type of cumbersome clamp in the past and this method cuts my time in half.Love 'em.
