Very strong, stiff bristles for removal of materials. Good for smaller articles provided the object is tightly held in a vice or other holding device. Bristle titration is average, depending on materials removed and pressure will wear/break bristles. Good function for the purpose intended.

These wire brushes are exactly was was described. I live in Florida and I see no rust development on the wire brush. I bought it to knock the rust off my Blackstone griddle and my BBQ cast iron grill grates. Works awesome. For $12 these wire brushes are a good addition to your tool collection.

The smallest one is a bit too harsh to really use effectively unless you cut it flush. The wheel on the medium one isn't riveted down strong enough tends to let the spines shift at higher speeds or pressure. The largest one I really have no issues with. Pretty decent set for buffing out metal to weld or cleaning up rust on thick plate steel. Good s*it kicker set to keep out in the field

These are not the cheap kind. These things have been put through the paces already, and they are holding up great. I was skeptical about the price, but not now. Worth all five stars. They even fit in the Irwin 6" extension. I expect to complete a number of projects before I wear them out.
