I used it for my bearded dragon eggs incubation. It works very well and shows an accurate temperature

I was impressed to see that each one of these placed in the same area reported almost exactly the same readings. So A+ for precision there. One of the devices arrived slightly disassembled, the metal pin in the latching clip came out. It's easy for that back click to just fall out if it's moved around, so just beware of that. Other than that, happy so far.

Using these in my mini greenhouses. I have the temperature sensors embedded into the soil. They're quite accurate, unlike some other similar small digital temperature gauges. Accurate in that the temperatures registered and shown are quite close to analog (think "meat thermometer") temperature probes.Just make sure you have selected the correct IN/OUT setting. One reads the temperature right at the panel itself (IN setting), the other setting (OUT) reads the external probe temperature.

Actually for the price I didn't expect total accuracy, but this is way out of bounds. Will be returning this.

Some things I liked about this thermometer /hygrometer combo would include the relatively large size of the display- It is easy to read as long as you have the screen angled properly. The directions were simple and easy to understand, and it seems to work as expected. I like that the buttons are large and easy to press, overall it is fairly basic but feels like it was well-made. I didn't notice it runs by AAA battery, luckily I had plenty on hand and was able to use it right away. The screen could definitely be a bit brighter... It is difficult to see the numbers unless angled properly as mentioned above, otherwise it looks more like a blur from any other way. If you are able to clip it somewhere at eye height that shouldn't be an issue, though the best place I could put mine means I need to lean over a bit to be able to read the screen. It isn't a huge concern but it is something to keep in mind. The clip on the back is very easy to open which is both good and bad, for me I don't mind it because I didn't need to fight to get it clipped onto the edge of my shelf that I wanted to use, but it would be easy to knock down if you are able to brush against it the wrong way.The description states that the Min/Max feature is only for the temperature- This doesn't seem to be correct, from all that I can tell it works perfectly well to show the Min/Max registered humidity levels as well, so I'm not sure why they say it won't do that. It isn't the best thermometer / hygrometer combo out there, but it's less than half the price of some of the more high end ones. For doing all that it does, it is a pretty decent value for the money and would be a good budget option for someone who would appreciate the screen size and Min/Max feature.

It’s a simple thermometer that’s handy to have, suitable for just about any non-demanding use where you need to measure such environmental variables. I say non-demanding because this is clearly not a laboratory instrument, but it’s fine for uses around the house or in a terrarium. The display is clear and easy to read. The simple instruction sheet is easy to read with decent sized print, but the English is poor. No matter, there’s not much to it. Here’s a quote:“External Temperature sensor, waterproof, it can be put into water, but it will be corrosion if long time stay the water”Oh well! The hygrometer sensor can be easily seen through openings in the bulbous plastic probe. It’s just sort of floating around in there. It responded quickly to the humidity in my breath and then quickly returned to its initial state. The suction cups are a nice touch. The temperature and humidity indications both agreed favorably with other thermometer hygrometers I had on hand. One AAA cell is required but not included.
