- Usage: When operating, make the clamp a little out, insert the pointer sleeve by hand, then stick the seat to the dial, hold it with the left hand, and turn the screw to the left hand with the right hand. The pointer moves up and gradually pulls the sleeve off the shaft. Thereby the pointer removal is carried out lightly.

Needed to take the needle off the face of an instrument to calibrate it. Probably over 50 hears since it was installed. It was resistant as probably age and bonding of dissimilar metals. Had to look at it real good to see it was removing it from the shaft. Probably 1/16 “ at the most. Very happy this worked like a champ ! Made this nearly unreplacable instrument work like new after adjusting. Knew there had to be something out there to remove these very small delicate needles.

They work but are all physically same size with different gap. Kinda gobby for a small guage.
