The silicone on my original Instant Pot IP-LUX60 wore out and stopped sealing. This part replaced it perfectly. Now the IP is working again and seals nicely. The ring is back to being snug to get on. I did not notice any appreciable smell.

These sealing rings seem to be well-made and high quality. However, I could not achieve a seal with them on my Instant Pot Ultra (6 quart). They seem to be just slightly too big compared to the original sealing ring. I returned these and am buying genuine instant pot seals instead. Sick of fooling around.

I have to admit that I didn't have high hopes for these silicone gasket replacements, as I have had other brands in the past that did not work; I am pleased to report that these are a perfect replacement for the original seal for my GoWise 8 Qt Instant Pot. My old ring still worked pretty well but was stained from use, did not always seal perfectly, and did have some food smells that I just could not get out. These were easy to get on and (so far) I have seen no issues with sealing. I got three seals: white, red, and black, so now I can color code which is used for what: white for savory, red for sweet, and black for defalcates, so no cross smells occur (IP spaghetti was notorious for lingering odors). So glad I got these, and the price was just right; pick a set up!
