I like keeping my bag off the floor and these are a good option. These have a strong grip and able to hold the weight of my purse (5-7 lbs).I also hang my AirPods for quick access.Great price for a pack of 3.

These are exactly as described on the amazon listing. They easily fit my butcher-block counter top, whose thickness is 1.5", with room to spare. The hooks are strong and don't have any trouble holding up my headphones or backpack.2 things you should be mindful of -First, the corner-edges at both ends of the unit are very sharp. They can definitely nick you if you're not careful, so be mindful where you place. I would definitely keep out of reach of children. (Note that the edges of the frame along the body are rounded, its just the ends that are a problem).Second, that this unit does NOT come with a surface protector, like most other c-clamp products. The bare metal will be touching your surface. Likewise, the boot that screws up to the bottom of the surface you're clamping to is made of plastic and does not have a felt or rubber protector, either. I'm using my own cork cutouts to protect the surface of my butcher block tabletop.

These are as advertised. My only issue is I need to use 2 together to support my backpack. My use is a backpack hanger at my desk. Without computers in the pack for added weight, the slightest movement wiggles the hangers. I think in order to get them tight enough the bottom bracket flexes. Also needing 2 to support the weight they can't be tight together because the mounting plastic pieces touch. I wish they would work, I like them.

This does exactly what its designed for. Its not the best quality and tightening it over something layered is a little tricky but over all it works.A few cons: It cant be tightened tight for repeated use. If you're going to hang something heavy and constantly take it on and off multiple times a day; I would look for something more sturdy. This shifts. I use it for my laptop bag and every time I take it on and off the hook it shifts to side or shifts off. Its a little annoying but doable. With the way it was made, trying to tighten it just pops the threading out of the top plastic cap on the bottom so tightness is limited.Like another review said there is no protection for your table or shelf and using felt pads will cause it to shift further during use so I would recommend for things lighter than backpacks with heavy laptops in them.
