My husband used up a whole section of his tool chest with his collection of sockets. I got 2 sets of this these and everything is not organized by size, for about $15 total. Not bad! I prefer these to the magnetic organizers because these hold the sockets in place more firmly.

I got this socket holder to replace a cheaper metal one that didn’t hold the sockets tightly (and so they kept falling off). This socket organizer holds the sockets very securely—even long sockets. You can remove the end caps and swap in other (sizes of) socket holders so that you could have ¼†and/or 3/8†and/or ½†socket holders on the same rail. The only thing that would make these organizers better is if there were more socket holders per rail. But I knew that before I got this set so I’m not deducting any stars. I’ll just get a few more of these so that I can add more socket-holders to a given rail. It’s a good socket holder at a good price so I’m giving the set 5-stars.

My son is a mechanic and needs another rail set to organize his sockets. This 3-Piece Socket Organizer Rail Set is a fantastic value for such a low price. The sockets fit firmly and securely. Even tossing the rails in a drawer holds the sockets firmly. I am impressed for a $6 price tag. These are a must-have. Excellent value.

This socket rail set is a very sturdy, no-frills organizational tool that works well for breaking socket sets into easy-to-access "what you need" sets. The inclusion of 3 different drive sizes makes it easy to keep like-sized sockets with different drives at an arm's length. Although they are built out of plastic, I like that they are somewhat lightweight and serviceable for my needs. They're plenty durable, too, as I've already put them to the "drop test" several times. The drive mounts are really secure, so even dropping these rails won't knock sockets loose.
