Went up easy and boards just slide and rest perfectly.

We loaded this thing up and so far so good. Super easy installation. Holds a lot.It can not simply be mounted on exposed 2x4 says my hubby. He had to mount it where there were two 2x4 together - the frame above the window where the 2x 4 were already doubled. We put it in our unfinished garage with exposed studs. Maybe if there was an actual wall and not just bare studs you could hang it where you want?

...this is the type of quality you might find out of a bubble gum, swag-toy vending machine. They even cut corners on only provided 8 screws versus the 12 screws you really need to mount it without flopping off. I tried placing snowboards on the rack but they were too wide and easily fell off if you messed with it. Now I have to deal with returning this hunk of junk. Just buy a couple bars at a home improvement store and you'll already be far ahead of this.

I have three longboards a 6' fish and four wakesufers jammed in this thing. It freed up a bunch of space for me. Super easy to install.

I would say this is a quick way to get a cheap product that works. No tools included and the racks don't easily slip together. Thankfully I had shop classes and am a handy GenXr. Protective tape sticks to board and ripped off. It holds the boards but Iv'e seen better quality at a better price after 40yrs of surfing

The bars Holding the arms are too wide to secure onto wall studs. Also, the padding on the arms is subpar at best. The padding is thin and starting to come off.
