This thing is a crazy good value. I abused some other cheapo in the 50 dollar range for like 18 months but it was uglier and the effects were terrible and ultimately the power port failed so I went with this one. Everything I've tried so far on this bad boy has been fine for my needs. If you wonder if you need more channels, you probably need more channels lol. I play acoustics into two channels for stereo and do vocals. My previous mixer was 5 and it was great for anything I needed to do. I've had other mixers with a zillion channels and I just got myself into trouble running a dozen wild routes for no real reason other than science lol

I needed a mixer for a small hardware synth/groovebox setup and decided to give this a try because of the low price and inclusion of effects. After using it for a bit, I think I would splurge for something a bit higher quality if you want nice sounding EQs and lush effects, but for a quick-and-dirty solution it’s hard to fault this thing.The effects are there and the EQs are there - it’s no API, but they work well enough to get the job done. The interface is a little bit clunky, but once you figure it out it’s not a huge deal. If you’re used to “affordable†gear, you’ll have no issue.All in all, I don’t know if I’d purchase this again for my particular use case, but I don’t regret it and I’m definitely happy with it until I find the perfect option. If you just need a mixer and you don’t want to spend much, I’d recommend it 100%.

They EFECT buttons on channels 1 - 3 were stuck in the "on" position. I had to take it apart and make adjustments to the buttons so they will not stick when pressed the second time to turn this effect off. Overall the mixer works and my daughter is mixing her songs with it.

This will be perfect if you're using powered monitors and, for example, running an open mic or karaoke night.The built-in effects work fine; you won't have to lug another piece of gear. It's small; the plastic is of mid-level quality. It's half a notch below Mackie or Behringer regarding plastic quality, but it sounds the same.The USB port works great if you're using a DAW. The eq is what it is - no more, no less.At this price point, you could do a lot worse. At a little more, you would do precisely the same.It is a lower-end mixer that will serve smaller events fine.
