I started with heavy-duty (33K lb) rubber ramps that reeked so bad I had to sell them (too late to return). Then I tried heavy-duty (22K lb) PVC plastic ramps, but immediately returned them because the toxic fumes they off-gassed made me feel ill and my dog drool. Finally I tried these, even though they didn't disclose what kind of plastic they are made from.My situation: I don't have any outdoor storage, so I need something I can keep inside my living/breathing space for 8 months out of the year. The other 4 months they will be in the storage unit with my little camper.I wanted super heavy-duty bulletproof ramps, which these are not, but I'll settle for 6.6K lb weight limit, very portable, serviceable NON-SMELLY ramps I can keep in my house or camper until needed. At 4" they are 1" too short for a 5" storage unit threshold, but I will make it work! So relieved to have found something that works for me! I hope they hold up in harsh winter temps, given the much lower weight limit. If they don't, I will post an update.UPDATE 11/30/24: I finally used them to store my camper for winter. They worked perfectly, zero issues, lightweight to carry but strong, zero stink for keeping in the house. I'll be using them for years to come.

This product worked well. It was movable, light weight, abd easy to install. We really loved this for our handicapped family members.

This item is very easy to move from one location to another for a wheelchair.

I got this to bridge the curb from the sidewalk to parking space in front of our condo, for use with my husband's wheelchair. The product itself is very good - they are quite sturdy and did lock together easily. The problem I encountered, which there always seems to be a catch when trying to solve accessibility issues - is that our curb has a lip on the top and also slants down - it doesn't drop straight down. So these are not as great for a curb like that because there is a gap at the top between the curb and the ramp. For a nice, smooth-topped curb that drops straight, these will be great. UPDATE: I am going to return these because when I tried them with my husband in his wheelchair, they felt very steep such that he was really pitched forward. So they won't work as well as I had thought. Too bad.
