I have struggled cutting styrofoam. I have used various knives that said they made clean cuts, which didn’t happen for me. I thought the electric cutters were for professionals and large projects. When I finally searched foam cutters, I realized that there are a multitude of smaller cutters for amateurs like me. This cutter is the best little gadget I’ve ever found. It cuts foam precisely and cleanly. You just need to go slow and don’t force it. The cord could be longer(it’s really short); but that does not effect the functionality of the tool.

A really good tool for my foam projects. Very clean cuts... would have given 5 stars but on attachment (5cm) didn't work... The others work fine...

Spend the extra few dollars. I bought a cheaper one before this and thought I’d save with a cheaper one since I only planned to use it once or twice. Cheaper one didn’t last an hour. The plastic that it was made of started melting and bending. This one lasted several days and still works fine. This os a good buy

In the picture, it clearly shows 12 V on the readout of the power supply. When plugged in with it turned all the way up to the max. It's not even 9 1/2 V. This is a scam and false advertisement. I'm highly unsatisfied. I do not recommend it. It does get hot and cut styrofoam but very little. It takes forever because it does not get hot enough.
