Why did I undertake the regreasing of my KitchenAid mixer?? This food grade grease was a great product for the task and I would recommend it any day. I do not suggest taking your mixer apart if you are not willing to thoroughly clean it and reassemble it. My mixer sat in parts on the counter for far too long because the task was daunting. After a few weeks I finally decided I needed homemade cookies and had to put it together again. Should you decide to take your perfectly operational stand mixer apart to regrease it, this is a great product. It comes with plenty of grease and the gaskets. Good luck to you!

This stuff has my old kitchenaid purring like a kitten! The helpful included gaskets fit perfectly and my mixer is as good as new! The regreasing process was seamless and super easy. Excellent value, will repurchase if needed in the future!

The gasket I received is red not black as in the listing. It also sticks out from the machine just enough that the trim ring will not cover it, leaving a red line showing on the front.

Nice affordable little kit. Includes two of the most common KitchenAid gaskets. 4 ounces is excellent For filling up the gearbox. I will be buying more of these.

Perfect amount of grease for a kitchenaid. The new gasket fits great, and the included little spatula comes in handy for both scooping out the old grease, as well as packing in the new stuff. It’s a bit of a job to do yourself, but if you take your time I do think anybody could do this. Especially for machines that are no longer under warranty.

I followed a video on YouTube, although the process of getting our 1970’s vintage stand mixer open was actually pretty straightforward. Some of the old greese was quite black and turning hard and lumpy. There was more greese inside the machine than I thought there would be, so I used the entire container of new greese as it seemed to be about the same amount. The little plastic spatula was very useful for lifting out the old the old stuff and putting in the new. I did not use the included new gasket, aa the original was in very good shape. While I had the machine open I inspected the teeth of the cogs and blew out some old flour dust from around the motor. This thing was built to last! I think the machine is sounding better and running smoother now.

Good combo for repairing/ maintaining a KitchenAid stand mixer BUTthe little spatula is not cutting it. It needs a better applicator i.e. a syringe, to get into the works of the engine, without too much loss of the grease. Or a different packaging all together, a tube with a nozzle for example.
