I originally purchased these to put on our sunporch during the fall season. I am like a little kid with these as there are so many color options, I don't know which one to use!They have color combinations for Fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I love how I can decorate that area of house (even though we don't use it that much). It adds a nice pop of color to the back of house during the holiday seasons. Since we're post-Christmas, I have green, but I'm preparing to decorate for Valentine's Day, so the color scheme will change again! These are so fun to use and I enjoy that there is a remote with 4, 6, and 8-hour timers. I loved these so much that I recommended them to my sister who also bought a set! They are a bit of shining light in the dark of night!

Batteries needed. Remote works great. Can set to different flickering speeds. And easy to just turn off or on. Didn’t Iude electricity either!

These lights are pretty good. Came with 2 remotes but only one remote works. Luckily it works with all 4 sets of lights. The broken remote is the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars. I’m recording how often I have to replace batteries. I hope not too often.

The first part of this review is not about the product quality or anything else (which is great - buy it). It’s more of a warning about where you put the lights.Without going into too much detail, I have always had a life where there have been some spirits. I moved from a haunted apartment and got to the home. I’m in now and thought that the energy shift was great. It didn’t feel like it had the same vibes so I was stoked. in addition, my mom passed away on Christmas recently. Fast forward, I buy these lights and decide that I want to put them on a plant garland for my fireplace mantle to hide cords. I get them on there and they look beautiful. I walk away and turn on a piece of my Goon equipment. I come back and then the lights are on. I’m already thinking it’s weird. A few days pass, and I turn on my TV in the living room, and the lights come on as well, and they start cycling through all of the modes. It happened again and then a third time. Eventually, I had the thought that maybe I should googled this and realized that the battery packs on these run the same as a TV remote. I’m not sure why they turned on with the ghost equipment in a room far away but they absolutely turned on because of the electronic settings and I don’t know the exact term because I’m not an engineer or scientist.With all that said, they are good quality, and they look really great and it’s a good bang for the buck. The downside is that they come rolled up so immediately you have to figure out carefully how to untangle them. I would, however. Just a tip, if you’re going to put them on your living room mantle, unless you want to scare your guests, I would just leave the batteries out until you’re ready to use the lights… consider the fact that you have remote controlled lights.

One of the four strings won’t light up regardless of different batteries used, pushing the buttons or using the remote.I already have the other three put up in place and it’s too much hassle to take them down, return, and get a new set. No opportunity to just exchange one, which is annoying, but I should have known better being essentially disposable stuff from China. Advice to others, test them all first.The three that work are great.

I used these to create Mufasa's head for a middle school production of Lion King. It took 5 of these strands, but they held up amazingly. Each LED was strung through the insulation board backing and the wiring was flexible yet durable enough that no lights went out. And they were incredibly bright too...no issues seeing them in the back of the 800 seat auditorium.I had the 5 battery packs velcro'd to the backside and a single remote controlled them easily. Remote worked up to 10' away, maybe another 1-2' if you're lucky.Other reviews about tangling are true, so take a deep breath when you unwrap them and have patience. I unraveled and straightened 1 entire strand across the living room carefully before starting to attach it to the board. This was definitely much easier than trying to untangle as I went.We just used the steady lights for the play. The flashing lights looked very Vegas. My only complaint is that most of the flashing modes automatically went from slow to fast and back in the same setting. I liked the slow pulse, but not being able to have it at that speed permanently meant we just went with steady.
