I am definitely not a carpenter or woodworker, but I sometimes find myself having to build some sort of a box or frame from wood for a project I'm working on.This jig has a lot of different pieces, but once you get it together and brace a couple of pieces of wood together, it holds that 90 degrees very well when gluing and fastening. They can be a bit big if you're making a smaller project, but that's no fault of the tool. I believe this is primarily meant for making cabinets and furniture.Everything here is made from anodized aluminum, and the corner braces themselves are a true 90 degrees, at least measured against all the other squares I have in the tool chest. I'm sure this will end up being an intuitive and easy to use tool once I get a little more use out of it.Does exactly what it should. A great tool to have in the arsenal!

90° Corner Clamps are useful when assembling cases, boxes and drawers. This 90° Corner Clamp Kit uses machined aluminum angles that can be fastened to either the inside or outside corners of boards to be joined at 90°. The Inside and Outside Corners are Exactly 90°. A 5 mm threaded rod with a 25mm arm, inserts into the angle and a board is held between the angle and a sliding block compressed by a threaded knob. The kit contains four angles and 8 threaded rod, clamping mechanisms, stored a quality plastic case with firm molded sponge rubber slots. The kit has one minor and one significant flaw. I’d prefer that an optional silicon rubber liner be available to insert between the wood and the compression block to avoid marring the wood surface and grip better. More importantly, the kit works well if the boards are of flush height, but if one board is offset (as in the photo where the face of a drawer is taller than the side), the 25 mm arm is too short to fully engage the angle. Better had the arm been 50mm long.

I'm not a brand new woodworker, nor am I anything close to a seasoned one. I'm just a gal who likes to make random things at random times when the fancy strikes. The bane of my existence lately has been getting solid 90º corners when making boxes. I've resisted buying specialty hardware to resolve this issue for the longest time, and now after trying this lovely set out, I'm left wondering why the heck I waited so long.First, the four corner squares are square. I've checked them with a variety of other tools, and they're perfect. They have a very nice heft to them, which adds to the premium feel of the set. All of the provided clamps, shims, knobs, and threaded L-brackets are well made and fit together nicely. Each set, once assembled does the job well. It those pesky sides securely and quickly. The case is also super nice. There's a foam insert that keeps each piece in its intended spot. No rattling around, just a simple and easy way to store the set when finished.I've only used them on two different projects, but in both instances they made my life so much easier. In the past I was balancing my standard woodworking clamps and the box sides while trying to keep my angles 90º as I screwed the clamps down. It wasn't fun. I'm tempted to buy a couple extra sets because they work so well!An enthusiastic five out of five stars.

I have been slowly adding tools to my personal collection with the hopes I can teach myself basic woodworking skills (more than just building garden boxes). My husband has great carpentry skills, but I can't always motivate him to build the quirky projects I wish to make.I have such a hard time with measurements, squaring things off, or even leveling anything because my small hands have difficulty holding and using basic building tool; wood or other materials keep shifting when I start to attach screws or nails. This clamp set will greatly help me in squaring off drawers and simple frames, etc.I'm so happy to have found this on the Vine program, and am even enamored with the strong carry box. I have my own tool shed, so being able to keep these clamps stored cleanly and concisely is highly important . Everything is very well made (in my humble opinion), and equivalent to anything I might find locally from HD or Lowes. I also love the red color so the clamps are easy to see!All pieces are as pictured in the listing, and each clamp is 1/2" thick metal, which I'm assuming is solid construction. The bolts slide easily into the tightening screws, and everything is wedged tightly in the storage box so that nothing falls out of their compartments when the box is opened. I'm excited to try using them in the Spring, and hopefully I won't need to bug my hubby for any help building fun stuff with them. : = D

Fantastic and simple corner clamp set. The four corner clamps are square and generously sized. I love that the outside shims can also be level feet. I am doing the trim on a door and was able to clamp together 1x4s just fine. I'm really impressed with the quality of this set and I'm excited to use it more. I double checked the inch measurements and they are correct. Way better than the jawed corner clamps you find at a big box store, and versatile enough to use for glue-ups, pilot holes, screws, etc. Easy to use and the well organized case is the cherry on top!
