One of the bulbs exploded (after they are being turned on for a while), purchased the bulbs in April 2022. I handled the bulbs by wearing gloves and carefully for every single step from opening the package all the way to installation so it's not related to handling but likely this is a quality issues, caused by insufficient insulation at the base of the bulb by the manufacturer. Luckily, I only got a minor skin scratch but it could be much worse! Buyers be aware!

They do the job at much better price that the ones I used to purchase from kichler. The length of the glass part is shorter than the originals, but still perform well. The base is the same. Just make sure you get the right wattage.
