These clamps are designed to secure leaf springs to your car. However, I am not using them for that purpose. I am using them to secure a punching bag to a 2 inch square steel tubing that holds up the roof on my steel building. Needless to say, these clamps are way overkill for my use. I will never have to ever worry that they may break. These clamps are super well made. The nuts, washers, and plates are all made from first class materials with a beautiful finish. If you need U clamps, these are the ones to get!
