We previously bought the one that had the extra piece on the bottom, and water took forever to filter. We decided to buy these without the bottom filter piece, and it is so much better. Water is now filtering a little faster yet still cleaning. I have only used one of these so far, but we are very pleased. Great value too.

Nice filters. They are easy to change in my Pur water pitcher. They last a long time.

The price point is good, and flavor seems good. We have crappy city tap water and I drink a lot of water on a daily basis. These filters are much like the Pur brand, and I'm not positive, but I did run them under water for a minute (like the Pur brand recommends) before installing it in the container. The fit is great but for some reason it doesn't fill the bottom half of the dispenser to the top, there is about a 2" gap from the waterline to the top reservoir insert. It's only bothersome because it takes a few minutes for water to filter so I constantly check it to see where it's at because I like to keep it full.

CAUTION: With such a short 30-day return policy, when you get to a defective filter that does not drip you will be STUCK with tossing it. A four-pack should last about 4 months so a 30 return is not in our favor. After having to toss out the defects I'd have been ahead if I'd just purchased the real thing and not a questionable knock-off. Disappointed that Amazon has cut way back with supporting its loyal customers in favor of supporting sellers.

I like the Pur filtration system because it is lighter weight than most and therefore easier for me to use and maintain. The order was well packaged and timely.

I am not real pleased with these. The product was larger with my previous orders of the same item. When I used these new ones, the water ran through the filter much faster. That in itself is a flag. To me, that would indicate the filtering wasn't as good. There is no information to indicate a change in size or efficiency.
