These are a great piece with good quality. I got them after a set of plastic ones broke. These were easy to install and hold a wooden rod nicely. Would recommend!

Took absolutely FOREVER for them to come in, but they are great! Super easy to put in the wall, fit exactly as described, and have held up the poles very well! Pretty sturdy and overall pleased.

The flange that actually holds the rod is tack welded with somewhat small welds to the part that screws to the wall, not a full weld. This is not nearly as strong. It's way stronger than a wooden rod, or drywall would need. I use a sch 40 steel pipe and screwed to studs, and I could *probably* over stress the welds, if I really loaded down the rod in my double wide closet... but that's only probably. I think they are a good value and strong enough for 99% of applications.

These work very well with the Chrome closet rod. I am rarely a fan of the screws and I did pre-drill for them just because more times than not they break, no matter how gentle I am with my driver. But the brackets were nice quality.
