With them made for the round tube rather than square tube I can turn these to what ever angle I want rather than being limited to in line to my scaffold or perpendicular to it. I found it helpful to set a couple of these at 45 degrees to the scaffold.

There are several things to mention...First off these are great for funny places, as they can go at any angle..that is a huge plus... and for a homeowner who only needs them now and then, painting fixing gutters.. they are perfect ! Someone said they could use them to 18 feet ? Maybe but I think 15 max is more like it.. They are not real heavy duty but are well made, I would say mid duty perhaps. For commercial use? Maybe not... Also I went and picked up lock nuts, you will see what I mean... I think they will hold better. All in all, I would buy them again.

Thin light weight metal, weld splatters and filing required before painting and using. Missing parts due to damaged shipping box. Jacks were not secured inside cardboard shipping box. The shipping box ripped open during transit. Seller did not include invoice or contact information. Was shipped from a warehouse without contact information.

These are about as bear necessities as it gets. Which is why they are less then one half the cost of a comparable product. They do “fit†my metaltech bakers style scaffolding with their bolt style clamps, but I will be looking into upgraded attachments, some yellow rattle cans, and drilling for castors.Major plus is the pricing, and range of motion for directing the outriggers. These can be used for front and back, side to side, and offset balance positions. Metaltech is very limited to their direct C-channel pin system. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who uses bakers rack style scaffold in weird places.*Also watch out for the burrs. I wire brush cleaned the welds and surrounding areas because there was not a lot of effort put into product polish. Does not detract from value.

The package arrived battered with a large hole. Some outriggers had dents, but were still usable. Some hardware was missing. Amazon compensated and the set performs well.

I installed these on my kbar scaffolding. I had 3 tires up. Very stable even at 18 feet. They where a little tight going around the square tubing but fit ok.

Kind of a pain to put together, but it works and sure provides a safer work platform. One of the pegs that the gates fit onto was bent so the gate wouldn’t hang, so had to take it to my welder for an adjustment. Works fine now.
