Definitely much better sound quality with the foam installed. I was actually shocked and surprised how much better the foam made it sound. Much clearer bass was obtained from 3 way 6.5 speakers. I cut the inside of the foam into strategic shaped pieces and placed on several key spots behind and above/below the speaker on the bare metal of the inner door. Also I advise to cut out the small area of the outer ring where the speaker screws will mount to the door or else the screw will twist the foam botching up the entire outer foam circle. It wasn't very hard to figure that out during the install, but I'm just advising to cut out the hole areas first before peeling the backing of the adhesive off. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the end result.

These foam speaker rings are exactly what I needed, and I am extremely happy with them. They have exceeded my expectations. I would definitely buy them again. Highly recommended!

One has a torn area and no idea how that was even possible bc these bags were vacuum sealed inside another vacuum sealed bag.It will expand but takes hours, so prepare installations accordingly.It does prevent any rattling so it's worth every penny.

Should have listened to the other reviews I figured these would be kinda like a memory foam mattress topper or dog bed and you have to let those sit for several hrs and they expand to normal. These in the first picture on the table is what they looked like right after I opened the package I gave them around 8 hrs and they still looked like that so I saw a review about putting them in the sun and that worked but it's to cold to do that so I turned the oven on and left them on top as you can see in the second Pic hoping the residual heat would work tried that for around 4 hrs and they looked a little better but not much so I finally pulled out a mini space heater and left them overnight in front of it and there still looking horrible so I really wanted these to work so I could start on my project but I'm gonna end up returning these because at this point it's probably been around a day and a half and I think there just gonna stay compressed like that.

Better overall sound (more full), it also helped quiet a rattle on the right front. Had them professionally installed. Worth it depending on your need.
