We ended up replacing my wife's little Fiat after a guy in a Jeep did a swoop and squat in front of her that caused the car to be totalled / I had had it fitted with deer whistles and we'd never had any problem with deer when we'd drive through areas where they might be. So I wanted to get a replacement for the ones that were lost with the other car. These did well on a Trip to middle Tennesee from Texas. Even on the return trip coming down the Natchez Trace we saw deer but they watched us go by. Never made any move towards the road.

My guy says these whistles are smaller and sleeker than any he’d seen before. They don’t detract from the looks of the bike. He said when he blew into one he could actually hear it, not same frequency obviously but audible at even his low expiratory force.I'm a firm believer in these things. I got this bunch when I found out my guy had multiples on both trucks but not even one on the cruiser. Just in time apparently. They arrived yesterday and he put two on before he rode last week. On his way home (rural) he saw a buck headed right for the road in a direct collision course. Suddenly it (the buck, not my guyðŸ˜) veered in an almost 180 and dashed off faster than it appeared.At the time of this review the price was $5.49for a package of four. Tiny price to pay for some peace of mind.Bottom line is these are smaller and nicer looking than a lot of others and they WORK at a great value.I highly recommend the Sylvil Deer Whistles!!

I have used deer whistles for years and these come without instructions - they must be mounted a certain way. Will not attach with the red strips that come with them. If the adhesive strips should come apart they DON'T!!! Kinda hard to attach when only once side is gummed. Went to the AI to return/refund and that was a loop that kept on going. Actually got a human and was refunded and talked them out of sending these four pieces of crappy plastic back. I wonder how much time people waste on crap like this that is guaranteed not to work out of the box? I hope Mal-Wart gets them back in stock!!!!!

I’ve installed these on a number of vehicles and never had any issues with animals crossing in front of me. Also, when I do notice animals on the side of the highway, I see they are looking up to see where the noise is coming from, this must be the warning sound that keeps them from going into the street.

Who knows if these Automobile Deer Warning Devices actually work but hopefully they do. Installation is super quick and easy and the cost is so low ($5.89 for the 4-pack at the time of this review) that it barely costs the buyer some pocket change.

I drive through deer country roads early morning. With these I have not had any issues.
