They work exaclty as advertised! Make sure when you pluck the squares you are exactly on point. Hard to fix mistake if you over pluck the squares. It does hold the items in place and makes it look organized. Make sure measurements for the box and the styrofoam are on point. kinda hard to make sure you cut to fit

This pick and pluck foam was just as advertised. It was vacuum packed, as they advised. It took a few hours to fully expand but it did so and was relatively easy to work with. I used an exacto knife to separate the squares cleanly.
