The boots for the taillights on my '46 Mercury were falling apart. I cut these down for a tight fit and no more water in the taillight housing.

I guess these could be ok but they are harder to work with than a standard grommet if you don't have easy access to both sides of the hole you make.

I used these boots to run wires from distribution block under the hood to the inside of my backseat of my cab through the floor. Ran my world through split loom.

Comes with four in the set, this firewall boot is excellent for pretty much any vehicle you choose to put it in. If you are installing a set of fogs, led lights, rock lights, or any other powered accessory and need to run wire forward of the cabin, you will need one of these. Instead of just having a drilled hole with some silicone, use this, you can cut it to accommodate one wire or a big bunch of wires, all depending on the size of your firewall hole.It is made very well and is thick rubbery material that won't tear easily. The different shaped areas of the boot allow it to be used with different size holes to give your firewall hole a solid, weatherproof install. I would still use some silicone upon install around the edges of the boot and possibly any negative space left in the pass-through hole. 5 Stars, good product, no issues, great price.

Needed for a switch and wires in motorhome, was able to cut to length and size I needed and zip tie it to the switch. Real happy with the results. Nice to have the extras in tool box for future multi use
