These are seriously sturdy little shovels. Bought them for a nature class I teach and all of the kids love them. I've even grabbed one to use myself for planting when I couldn't find my usual trowel and it worked as well as any other I've owned!!

Really cute and strong. They actually work. The top handle is open so when you apply pressure it really hurts...pressess into your skin.

Check the dimensions before you click. They are child size, too small for deep digging. However, they look sturdy and will do nicely for potting and transplanting. Plus, the bright colors will make them easy to spot when I lay them down some strange place and forget where they are.

I was a little afraid these would bend easy, but they’ve been pretty sturdy for the 1st graders as they worked in their garden, digging up weeds. As a parent helper, they weren’t a burden to carry for the kids, since they’re lightweight.

These were great shovels, however my neighbor in trying to help us out accidentally ran over one with his riding mower and completely mutilated it. I've never seen a shovel get shredded like that, but if you don't leave it out to get ran over they're great little shovels! We've used them for gardening and in the sand box and I'm pleased with the purchase.
