If you are moving from an older home into a newer one or newer home from older one, you will likely find that the dryer plug won't fit.
It is because homes built prior year 2000 used the older 3-prong variety but after that National Electric Code began requiring all dryer receptacles to be the 4-prong type for increased safety.
Our adapter is the solution. 10-30P to 14-30R with external ground wire dryer plug adapter. It works when you move into an older apartment or house that has the 3 prong outlet while your dryer is with 4 prong plug.
Just connect the dryer plug to the female connector and plug in male plug to your older 3-prong socket of the older home. Please remember to insert the green grounding terminal to the wall socket of 15AMP or 20AMP 125V round terminal.
