The brackets functioned as designed. They were cheap enough that I didn't bother to fabricate my own brackets.

Used these to install a Renogy 200W solar panel to the top of my travel trailer. These Z brackets are better than the name brand ones, and much less expensive. I did use stainless steel nylock nuts vs the ones supplied as I did not want them coming loose. I like how they have 2 screws per bracket as well.

These don't come with the locking washers nor the standard flat ones. But for me, unless you need extra washers to put aside to suit some other need for them some other time, you don't need the washers for the mounts. I have several solar panels on the roof of my house. The nuts and bolts are fine for most standard solar panels without using the washers. MAYBE for an RV or any fast moving vehicles in a high headwind situation would benefit from using flat washers between the bolt, the mount and the panel to be safe. But otherwise, personally, I didn't need them.So far they have stood up on higher wind conditions fluctuating around 35 MPH with no problemsThe nuts bolts and screws arrive sorted and for me that saves a little extra tedious work

These seem adequate, but lack a washer to go under the bolt head, which is very important, to prevent the bolt head from slipping through the hole on some solar panels, like the ones I have. I had to supply my own washers, no big deal, but inconvenient.

I used a "Brand Name" for brackets on another panel until I realized they did not allow the standard MC4 connectors to fit underneath! That means with other brands you may not be able to hide your wires under the panel and use the channel of the panel sides to secure your wires up underneath. These brackets are just a little bit taller, and they DO allow the standard MC4 connectors to slide under the panel which allows easy maintenance, and a nice way to hide and secure wires up under the side channels of the panels. They seem strong and time will tell, but the materials look identical to other more expensive brands.Very happy to have found these!
