Hung a 30 ft banner across the road for a Bach festival. Needed some trusty high quality cable holders and they definitely did their job. Just the right size with a great value.

For the most part these are OK. On several of the items the threaded portion did not extend toward the "U" as much as it probably should have, so when tightening the nut, the nut would travel inboard beyond the threads and "skip". I am sure taking the nut off would be nigh-on impossible after the inner threads have been boogered like that. A washer or two prevents this, but really should not be necessary for an item like this.

Saker wasn't all it was advertised to be. The welding trigger stuck on mine. From the add videos looks like the welder agitates by itself. It doesn't. Cord is way too short making it very difficult to weld. The instructions are bad at best.I've been welding for a long time, but this is not for me.

Purchased 120 of these for a trellis system using 1/4" steel wire rope. Quality seemed ok at first withonly a few malformed saddles in the lot. Sadly it turns out they are only useful for extremely light duty applications but we did not realize that until too far into the project, and after the amazon return window expired. These clips are way smaller than a standard 1/4" cable clip - closer in size to a 3/16" cable clip. The biggest problem is that the u-bolt threads are soft, have quite a bit of play, and strip easily when attempting to properly torque for a full load 1/4" cable application (1440lbs working load). We did not realize how bad these clips were for our application until 24 cables where assembled, needed to be tensioned, and clips torqued to spec. Had to order proper clips from a rigging vendor and replace these before putting any load on the trellis. Lesson painfully learned...

For two months, i left one of them outside in snow, rain, and salty ocean air. No sign of rust. That's impressive.
