Most of my window screens needed to be replaced along with the cheap plastic lift tabs which most of them were broken from being brittle. These were a little too big for my frame but I made it work by bending my frame just a tiny bit. I feel much better replacing plastic with these aluminum pieces. I'm happy I bought these, they should last as long as the window itself or longer.

It is probably a user error, but I found these tabs very difficult to install and easy to remove through normal use.
