Sprocket and chain must match each other to normal use, choose sprocket, need to consider the following factors:
1.style of sprocket
Type A (Flat sprocket, no hubs)
Type B (1 Hub)
Type C (2 Hubs)
2. Number of Teeth needed.
3. 3.Sprocket bore size.
If you choose the sprocket according to the chain, you also need to confirm the pitch of the chain and the diameter of the chain roller.
Induction Hardening
Sprocket is made of AISI 1045 Medium Carbon Steel, gear part of high temperature quenching heat treatment, high hardness, Harden Teeth at HRC38-42,wear resistance.
Blackening Treatment
sprocket overall blackening treatment, rust, corrosion resistance.
Mark
Each sprocket will be marked with the number of teeth and the size of the inner hole for ease of use.
DIY manufacturing
Sprocket tooth surface induction hardening, the center position can continue processing, easy to meet the needs of specific scenes.

After reading other reviews, I am sorry that people had dimension and fitting problems. I guess I got lucky. My 1" bore sprocket fit on the shaft just right, the keyway fit the 1/4" key perfectly, #40 chain fits great, the worm screws (set screws) could have been a little longer with more thread, especially the one that goes deep inside the meat of the hub. Subtracting 1 star for that, sorry.

Measured the bore with gauge pins and it is 0.619" not 5/8". The body of this measures Rockwell C of 8 so it looks like I can run a reamer through to fix the bore but, woof, I would be happier if this arrived with actual bore as advertised.

Old wide tired doodle bug mini bike was going to fast for grandkids. Bigger sprocket geared it down. But now when I punch it the front end comes up a mite. Hmm have to see how that works out next spring.

This is #40B pitch sprocket. And it has 2 set screws but nowhere in the description does it mention that #40B is wider than regular #40 go-kart/mini bike chain. So I get to grind off 1/16 off Each side..
