These would work great for something light like a bag of candy. I was using them to tie off a bag with a jar inside that weighed over a pound. I had to twist it 6-7 times to keep it from unwinding, but it worked. They bend when you so much as touch them. But they are pretty and a good value for the money. I also bought from a different seller and these were a little better. Not nearly as sturdy as the twist ties at the grocery store.

These are just ok. Nothing special. You're better off buying the kind that is on plastic bags of bread.

The twist ties are flimsy, you have to put two together to hold it.
