If you've been catching a lot of glare and want the sharpest imagery with amazing saturation and vibrancy, polarizers are a go-to. Whether you're just enjoying the outdoors or shooting video through windows/water, the circular polarizer is your go-to. Great to have in your arsenal along with neutral density filters. Works perfectly and as expected.

The only purpose to get this polarizing filter was to minimize the glare that I get in my dashcam. Though it did reduced the brightness during sunny days but the reflection of dashboard and artifacts placed on it can not reduced. Reflections hardly got removed.I would not recommend it to anyone yet. But will exploring other options.

CPL Filter Circular Polarizing FilterThe fit is accurate and easy to install on my Vantrue N4 Pro.My environment is sunny and bright most of the year, and commuting toward the sun each way to work, this CPL filter does reduce the brightness and adjust the contrast details, like increasing the Contrast ratio in a photo app.If your environment isn’t that bright, you’ll have to decide if this makes your image too dark.Note:The attached Tree pics may give you an idea of the Contrast effect but it’s not a 100% scientific comparison because the dash cam screen caps are from two different days. The CPL image is a little darker but the trees have more definition and depth.Overall, this CPL filter works for my dash cam.

I got this for a different model dashcam that I own, because I've heard polarizing filters like this can improve visibility and image quality in very bright, sunny conditions. The dimensions as stated (0.28" x 0.2") are definitely off; this thing is much larger than that, probably closer to like 1.5" in diameter. As such, I had to jerry-rig it to get it attached to my dashcam, but it works as intended and helped to improve the visibility of recorded footage.

I taped it to a v3 pro mounted high near a window inside. It helps with the inside light reflection at night, but I had to glue it on.
