My daughter only threw about a dozen pitches into it before the eyelets broke loose. I also had a heavy duty canvas tarp directly behind it which was absorbing most of the impact. I imagine that without that, this one would have lasted a few pitches, at best.

This baseball backstop is good for use in batting cages. It allows you to reduce the wear and tear on the net behind the batter and also gives you a good target to look at if you are using the batting cage for live pitch. I have thrown a ton of batting practice for teams that I have coached and I'm always more accurate when I have a target to look at. The vinyl on this backstop isn't super thick or heavy, but it is thick and strong enough to absorb the impact of balls so they aren't just hitting the net behind the batter. The mounting clips make for easy installation.

It looks good but doesn't last the first use it ripped were the clips hold the net to the cage. Thought it would be durable because it ot thick but no the material has a whole just hope it don't rip anymore.

This is thick nice material. When tied tight enough works perfect. Easy to take with and set up anywhere as long as you have something to attach it to. Helps kids practice.

Overall, the backstop is very high quality with excellent stitching. It has been working really well for pitching practice as well as batting practice keeping my net in better shape and having to replace it less. I've thrown a variety of speeds at it and it has handled things upwards of 70+ mph without having any issues likewise I've hit a mountain of baseballs off of the tee into it and so far no cracking, tears or punctures.I would say, a feature that would be quite nice is to be able to move around the strike zone to different positions for more specific practice. For now, I've just taken to taping the areas that I am working on and providing myself a bit more of a grid so I can practice at hitting specific spots.I will say, I've tried various pitching nets in the past and I like this one for the simplicity, otherwise, I use a 2 net combination where I have a 9 zone pitching net and then I put a backer net behind it to catch strays that miss the strike zone. So, it's a 4/5 for me. If they were to add in an adjustable strike zone / adjustable catchers mitt area that would make it a 5/5 (i.e. practicing a left handed catcher vs. right handed from a visual perspective can often times make a big difference).
