I bought these primarily for sharpening the blades on my zero turn. I haven't sharpened the blades yet, but these disks seem to be of very good quality, better than I've had in the past. After I put them to the real test I'll come back if they don't function as well as it seems they will, or should.

I'd never heard of or used these before, so I wanted to give them a try. When they arrived, I realized I hadn't thought through how to attach these, so after a little checking and research, I realized I was missing a base for them. They were semi-rigid, and clearly they couldn't be used as is without a high risk of shattering because they flex.I would never use these for sanding wood, there are better tools and products. What they are good for is if you want to do use the face of a wheel instead of the edge to get a sandpaper-like effect. These don't grind away large amounts of material, but act like a heavy duty abrasive, similar to how you'd use a belt sander with a coarse belt. For deburring the edge of a cut, chamfering, things like that. I can't think of anything else I have on hand that behaves like this, so I'm glad I have them. It's basically turning your grinder into a sort of belt sander, albeit with less surface area.

hole size isn't declared or I can't find it.it's 21,5mm, but by my (US)grinder teller has a 22,0mm arbor, so can't use it ;(

By now if you have been an assiduous student of my reviews you know I am a compulsive DIY manic and firmly believe too many tools is not enough. Accordingly I order things that I know will be useful someday (if I live long enough) whether or not I have immediate use for them. This acquisition falls into that category so I must apologize for not being able to provide experiential feedback yet. I just like knowing I have a good supply of accouterments for one of my favorite tools - the angle grinder!

These resin fiber discs fits my 4.5in Diablo (brand) backing pad as they should and perform as expected. Honestly can't tell the difference between these and other brands I've used.
