How to Install the LED ceiling fan light retrofit kit
Step 1.
Cut off the power supply.
Step 2.
Remove the old light source and BALLAST and then install the new HAOLEDI LED ceiling fan light retrofit kit.
Step 3.
Connect the wires, positive to positive and negative to negative.Then cover it .
Step 4.
Turn it on.
How to select and set the color temperature
Step 1
Select the color by a quick switch.Three color available: 3000K / 4500K / 5000K
Step 2
Once you get the color , let it stay for at least 6.5 seconds then turn off it.
Step 3
Do not turn on the light immediately after turning off the light, as it also takes 6.5 seconds to remember the color you selected.
Step 4
Turn on the light after 6.5 seconds or more you will find that it will be the color temperature you selected last time.

Love the fixture and fan, though the light bulb went out much sooner than expected. Gave an extra star because the manufacturer sent a replacement bulb right away. Note: we weren't able to find the specs for purchasing a replacement bulb locally.

The magnets are strong but very dim. Definitely not 36w. The light is about the same bright as my 18w light.

The light was the right size and wattage for a direct replacement for the light that had gone out in my ceiling fan. The wiring was easy to hook up. The LED light illuminates as well as the original.My only problem was the magnets that were sent would not fit in the key slot wholes that I believe were designed to stick the barrel of the magnet through the opening then supposed to slide up the slot where you then attached the screw to the back. I had to remove the old magnets from the old light and use them on the new one.

I prefer 4" lights as they are sized for most ceiling fans, and 5000K color temp which is a nice white light. I have been replacing LED light engines for several years, and whoever came up with the idea of using magnets to mount these is a genius. Much better than drilling, tapping, and making custom standoffs.What a difference an LED light makes; much brighter than the OEM halogen bulbs. I like 5000K color temperature, and the color from these is a little too blue for me at 6000K. This unit generates a lot of heat, this may be a concern for longevity in an enclosed light fixture. I have it installed in an enclosed fixture, and will report back any issues if it fails.The light comes assembled with the magnets. I thought this would not matter, but some of the competitor LEDs do not come assembled, and the plastic protector does not fit right. When the magnets are attached at the factory, the entire assembly already fits together correctly.The plastic connector included is junk; does not take enough wire to safely connect. I use which may be one of the best inventions for electricians in the 21st Century.I have found these seven products to all be the exact same items: 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) 7) I would recommend the ULIKELED because the specs and pictures are accurate.
