This is my 2nd attempt purchasing bear claw salad tongs for a friend's "thank you gift" as the 1st set I purchased looked cheap but these look of a better quality and feel heavier. I trialed them with a pasta salad and they did wonderful job serving without mushing the pasta. The only I wished differently is they would be 1-2" shorter and 3-pronged like an older set I have but would definitely buy these again for a gift.

They are easy to store away because they're not too big. Very well made in my opinion. And they're not too small to wear it's hard to use them.

I am very pleased. They look cool and do the job they are intended for very well. The natural wood is very attractive.

They have very little curve to them, very flat so more difficult to handle. Has some sort of thin varnish on them that I think will wear off quickly. Because of the varnish, that I hope is food-safe, I was not able to preserve with mineral oil. I would consider them over-sized. The salad tongs are not dishwasher safe. Still, I prefer this type of salad tongs and the price was right.

Using these reduces the number of rubber gloves I use in the kitchen. I saw these on Cook’s Country and realized this was that extra pair of hands I needed.
