So, first impressions when you open the box - STRONG jasmine fragrance, and definitely artificial. I was afraid these would burn that strong.Fortunately (in my opinion), the burn smell is MUCH softer and more enjoyable! I went from being nervous about whether or not I'd be using these, to being excited to use them again. The burn time is about average for this size tea light, even considering the amount of leaves in it; I'd say I got about 5-6 hours out of the ones I've used so far. They're honestly really pretty. I recommend finding a really short votive for them, so you can appreciate the aesthetic of the jasmine petals as it burns (it's really pretty to see them suspended in the wax). All in all - if you're sensitive to strong smells, I would recommend ventilating the box when you first get it. But the candles are a much softer scent after, and should be good if you like a pleasant scent addition to the room!

So far I'm very much enjoying these tea candles. They smell amazing even when they're unlit and I've been using them near my litter box and place them unlit in other strategic places around my house. If you do not like the smell of Jasmine then they can be a little overwhelming once lit, but I like that. Jasmine is a very "feminine" scent and it is very strong and noticeable in any form so be mindful of that if scents are something you are sensitive too. I got a good amount of tea candles in the box, they arrived promptly, are all undamaged, and have a long burning time! The flowers are pressed directly into the wax for an elegant, unique look and I'm happy these are in my possession. I got them for free with Vine but if I had seen these at Home Goods or TJ Maxx or something I probably would have paid full price for them too.

You can smell the roses before you open the box. It is a little bit overpowering. I think spread out they would be fine, but I would not put too many of them too close together at once. I feel like it does smell like real rose, but almost has a soapy kind of smell to it. The edges of the tea light candles are a little waxy, but I’m sure that is too be expected.

I could smell the rose before I even opened the package! Gorgeously scented and stunning to look at with the little rose petal bits in each candle. They light easily and burn a decent amount of time and give off that lovely rose aroma. Very relaxing to have int he home, instead of plain old white tealights!

My nose knows the difference between a good quality essential oil scent and that other stuff. That said, I am completely impressed with these tea lights. One of these provided a delicious lavender scent throughout my entire living area that lasted several hours past extinguishing. Comes in a generous quantity of 48 tea lights. Made with ingredients that do not contribute to indoor pollution…and I like that.NOTABLE: Those lovely dried botanicals on the top of these tea lights are REAL. And therefore, flammable. Whenever I use one, I simply remove (I used half a paper towel/plastic spoon) the dried petals FIRST before I light the candle and treat myself to a fabulous scent.I absolutely love these scented sweeties and highly recommend enjoying these frequently.

I love the scent of these candles. I love the option of having scented tea lights! These are light and last a decent time for tea lights. I love that I received so many in this package.

Opening the box, all the candles smelled like bug spray. I would never light such a scent in my house, and didn’t so I could return them.
