I'm a cat person, and when I sit down to watch TV in the evening, one or more of my cats pretty quickly hops up into my lap and nestles down. I don't want to disturb my fur baby, so how do I get a cold drink an hour or so after sitting down? That's what I bought this can keeper for, and I must admit, it does a pretty good job. After an hour or two hours sitting on the table next to me, the drink is noticeably colder than one that I would keep in a regular foam koozie. Not as cold as when I took it out of the frig, but definitely an improvement over the old method. The 12 oz can that I usually drink from fits well into the thermos. The only down side is, there is not much of the top of the can sticking up above the screw on lid, so it's rather difficult drinking from it. No doubt a bottle would be a bit different. But then, since more of the bottle is sticking over the thermos, would it stay as cold? I can't answer that. Just something I have thought about. So, overall, I'm happy and my cats are happy. This isn't perfect, but it is good enough.

Didn't really know these bottle/can holders existed until I did a search on Amazon. I just knew they sounded far superior to the cheap foam Koozies I kept buying and losing! So after browsing numerous brands and designs, I finally narrowed the choice down to the Clear Water. Not only does it accommodate different size bottles and cans (beer, cola, water, tea, etc.), the easy twist-off rim keeps them securely seated when you tilt it to drink. The stainless steel wall keeps a drink icy cold long after you need it to, yet saves you the worry of condensation leaving a ring on a table surface. So another plus? No annoying coaster to stick to the bottom and fall off every time you take a sip, or to hurriedly grab for a guest enjoying the game with a cold beer. The array of colors also makes it easy to identify which beverage can or bottle belongs to who.In fact, I thought this beverage holder was such a great idea, I bought my brother-in-law a red one as a Christmas gift and also treated myself to the fuchsia pink. The only slight negative was that mine came in a plain white box with only the brand's logo. So I sent my brother-in-law the link to the Amazon product page to fill him in on its great features. A custom-designed product box with some of the same feature call-outs and inset photos as on the web page would make the usage, versatility and advantages of this gift clearer, as well as your reasoning behind purchasing it just for him or her; i.e., the gift-buyer put some thought into it! This is particularly true in cases when you're mailing gifts directly to the giftee and won't be present when it's opened. I think my sister wrote the surprisingly evusive thank-you note because it began, "What a thoughtful gift!" Not sure if she was thinking of Bob, my BIL, who likes to drink beer in the den in front of the TV, or of her end tables ;-)

The description says this will keep drinks cold for hours (even up to 18hrs???). Unless I’m missing something or doing something wrong this doesn’t even come close to keeping my drinks cold for hours. I have even tried keeping the can cooler in the refrigerator and using cold drinks and they stay cold only slightly longer than using without it.I gave 3 stars only because I was able to easily personalize them with vinyl using my cricut.

For a regular can or bottle works great, keeps it nice and cold and your hand doesn't get cold or wet from condensation the down side of it the tall boy cans fits in the canister but the lid doesn't fit it. But overall it works great.

This product works great to keep your drink cold for quite some time. Was not happy with how long it took to be delivered though!
