This is a great starter set of beads for anyone that is interested in creating their own bracelets/necklaces but isn’t overly concerned with perfection. There is a very large selection of beads, and it comes with everything you need to get started—two different thickness of thread, needles, etc. The colors are vibrant and the beads themselves seem substantial; I haven’t had a bead break yet! The beads aren’t perfect, and some are slightly misshapen or smaller/larger than the rest, but for simple bracelets and experimentation that isn’t a huge deal IMO. They are certainly more misshapen than in the product photos (which appear to be photoshoped into place) so just a heads up on that one! I really like that each color has its own small container that can be closed if not in use instead of a whole big container open at once. There are some instructions and patterns for inspiration, but I found the included pamphlet to be very hard to see though it does try to teach how to do some of the more confusing bits like getting started and finishing. Overall, a decent starter set for someone who “may be interested†in beading. I would suggest adding a cloth-based cord as the only ones included are plastic.

I received this item today and I’m surprised how damaged the product box is. The letter beads that were in the box were scattered all over the box. The color beads are alright from what I can see but further inspection is needed. Additionally there were plastic pieces in the box, which I’m guessing some parts of the lids were broken. The colored beads are exactly what I wanted and, everything is well organized with amazing color choice. I’m only giving this item 3 stars because the damaged product box and disorganized letters but overall the quality seems legit. Will update if I find something else.

There is seriously no shortage of possibilities for jewelry designs with this great package of beads! Included are two containers of beads - one for colorful seed beads and the other full of alphabet beads. Also included are two spools of stretch cord, a set of scissors/snips, some gold beads and findings, plus a handful of accent beads in fun colors.My daughters are both in the phase right now where they love to make bracelets and share them with all their friends, so I have no doubt that we will be making all kinds of jewelry for the foreseeable future thanks to this set!Would order again!

I am going to the Eras Tour and need to make a whole bunch of friendship bracelets. This kit is absolutely perfect. It comes with string, seed beads, letter beads, numbers beads, and a few fun shapes and other tools. I have found the biggest help in my bracelet making to be the beading needles as I can line up my needs on the needle and then feed my string through them. I love the variety of colors. Each row of small containers is attached together but each color has an individual lid so even if something gets knocked over you don't end up with a giant mess (assuming you only have one color open at a time). I have only found one or two beads that didn't have a whole all the way through. I will say the string sniper scissor things don't really work as scissors, but you can saw the string down on one of the sides and it will cut the plastic string. I think the price is great for everything you get in the set.

I love the organization of this product! All of the small beads come in their own little plastic boxes, packed in another plastic box. A great way to keep all the lovely colored beads organized. The colors in these 56 little boxes of beads are fabulous! Great shading from one tone to the next. There's another plastic box with alphabet beads (a bit larger than the glass beads). These are all white with black letters and the letters are sorted into their own boxes. Since there was room for 28 boxes, they added multi-colored stars and hearts (the same size as the alphabet beads). Then there's a bag with other supplies: There are 2 fine needles for threading the small beads, a pair of tweezers, snip scissors, two spools of plastic cording, one in size .6 and one in size .8. There is a small bag of gold tone wire pieces for making jewelry. Lastly, there are 6 more bags of beads, gold tone stars, gold tone round beads, Gold tone heart-shaped beads, pearl beads, a bag of 10 silicone beads, and a bag of multicolored alphabet and numbers. The last ones are all in one bag (white beads with letters and numbers in different colors). All of this comes in a cute pink cardboard box with a lid that folds down and closes. Everything great for storage! This is a great kit for starting to make beaded items!There is also an instruction manual which gives great suggestions for color combinations. There are pictures showing how to use the open-ended needle to thread beads. However to use these you would need to use your own thread. It does specifically say that the needle only applies to threads with a diameter less than 0.6mm. The manual even shows how to tie a knot in the thread. Lastly, the manual gives pictured instructions on making a flowered bracelet, which is very cute. I'm sure there are other designs and patterns available in stores or on the internet, but this kit really can get you started very well.
