I have an old icon titanium jacket that came with elbow padding and pockets for shoulder padding. Over time, the soft factory elbow foam pads fell apart. I thought the jacket was done but found this armor. The foam is soft but once it gives it has some form to it and feels like it would protect my elbows and shoulders in most offs without making the jacket feel rigid and uncomfortable. It cups my elbows better than the thin factory pads and I didn’t have shoulder pads at all so that’s a welcome addition. Installing the pad couldn’t have been easier as my jacket has Velcro pockets sewn in to accommodate it. This armor was cheaper than I thought I’d be able to find replacements and fit perfectly. I’m very happy with it, and even happier that it allowed me to keep my now 15+ year old jacket, which is like a dear friend to me.

Well, on a recent road trip went to put on my old Joe Rocket jacket and the elbow felt funny. Gained access to the old armor and it literally disintegrated in my hands. Pulled the rest of the armor out and threw it away at a rest stop in MT. Spent a fair amount of time researching replaceable pads and these turned up in the search. Went ahead and ordered but obviously since I was on the road there was no way I would get these in time.When I got back they were already at the house, pads came in their own little box neatly packed with instructions. At first I thought the "yellow" would show thru the mesh and look sort of weird and for a second I did get buyers remorse but once they were inserted you could not tell the color from the outside. The shoulder pads took a bit of arranging since I put them in upside down and did not realize it. Fit and finish are very good, easy to insert in the jacket and most importantly I did not have to retire the jacket and gave it a new lease on life.

like it says in the title feel thicker than the ones that came in my jacket, quality feels better than the original, just bought a new jacket for my buddy and I can't wait to replace the stock for these.definitely great value for the price.will buy again.

herley branded mesh jacket came with no armor and i was tired of taking out of my other jacket . this is a good investment, i hope to never need it

Quality is very good, price is fair (actually is cheap for this level of protection L2), soft like memory foam and hard on impact. Much much better than regular type.

I guess they will work better than my crumbling pads. They are smaller, not as thick, I won’t but these again because of this.

I was disappointed when both my wifes riding jacket as well as mine had armor pads were totally disintegrating. Hers is a Joe Rocket mine a Nitro. I figured they were garbage. When I saw these available on Amazon I was very happy but unsure how they would fit. Well Happy to say they both fit perfect and the quality seems excellent. My jacket seems to fit even better with these armor pads and is more comfotable. I will 100% recommend these to all riders.

I bought these to replace factory pads which had quite literally disintegrated in a Joe Rocket touring jacket. They fit the pockets fine. I not having any troubles with them squishing up etc. No way I can test them to assure the impact resistance claims are accurate.

They fit in my older Joe Rocket jacket. They may be smaller than the originals, but a lot better than a bunch of crumbled pads. They appeared to be of good quality.
