As with all things made in China, you have to be careful. I've bought things that were supposed to be 316 s/s and were rusty after 3 months. These thimbles have a very low magnetic attraction, so far so good,time will tell. One came with a very slight defect at the top of the bend which I can correct , that's why 4 stars.
