These will be used on an 1870's model steam engine for supporting pole bases.The black oxide finish blends in with other miniature hardware on my models.Th 6mm ID can easily be increased to 1/4" for SAE applications.

I've used these flange couplers of various shaft diameters to couple motors to rotating objects - mostly at light loads. My latest project involves a microprocessor controlled automatic rotation of a 15 lb potted plant, located in a sunlit window, 90 degrees every hour. It works well.
