Mounting was not done with the screws supplied with the product because they are only 1/2†long and in order to securely mount these into wood I had to purchase 3/4†screws from the local hardware store! Using very small plastic mollies that weren’t supplied wasn’t an option because I needed to achieve a more secure mounting! These are obviously smaller than I expected and I only used them for smaller window coverings!

Surprisingly I couldn’t find one of these hooks at any of my local hardware stores so I had to order online. The screws it comes with Are too short they won’t hold much weight for much time but still a fine value for me because supply was out the window and now I have backups if one breaks. I’m using this with a roller blind to secure the string when it’s up

I used these for outside blinds to wrap the pull cords around. The ones supplied with the blinds were cheep thin metal that bent when I tried to use them. These are sturdy and feel that they will last a long time.

Good solution for curtain cords. Work fine. Screws are just a bit coarse so don't recess into the bracket sockets completely but not a huge issue
