Fit 6 speed trans. Use a good high temp silicone sealer.

Fitted all the parts (flat filter, spin on filter and about to close the pan with the gasket) and find that the flat filter pick up is too tall so the pan wouldnt fit properly. See the photos with old and new compared (new is taller). I am not in the practice of cutting down a BRAND NEW filter housing (although you could do this at your own risk) and I shouldnt have to anyway. So I had to reuse the old filter. Both the gasket and spin on filter fit fine, which was doubly frustrating as it means I had to go through Amazon chat to seek a partial refund (which I did get) but it still means I am now running around with a used filter installed and I have to get another new one and then fit (which for a Durango is a right pain and proper messy). Bloody Amazon..................
