The solar panels were very easy to install. They arrived with C-adapters, which I did not need for my generation of blink cameras. I bought two to try them out. I took them out of the box when I got them to charge by the sun a day before I hook them up. I have since then turned up all my sensitivities my night vision, the length of the video anything that I could increase I turned up due to being solar and not batteries. I’ve had them installed for about two days now and I’m really impressed with them so now I have ordered an additional two solar panelsThey come with all the hardware that you need to install them into the wall or wherever it is you’re placing them and that was very easy as well They do seem to have a water tight seal. I feel like the size of them is good and I live in an apartment building so I installed them in areas where other items were has to not stand out so much I will update in a week or so to let you know how they’ve lasted and I did not buy the additional protection plan

I was really excited because it worked like a charm the first day. There's no way to tell the state of charge of the battery, so I left it in the sun for a few hours before I connected the camera.I got this for a birdfeeder camera which doesn't need to be on all night long, so I have it set to turn off at sunset and turn back on at sunrise. So I figured it would be fine because it wouldn't even be using any power all night long. I don't know what happened, the camera powered down the first night, and it never came back online the next day. I left the panel in the sun all day, and it still wasn't turning the camera back on. There's no port to charge this externally, so I don't know if the batteries were really low and then they ran all the way down and now it won't work? I have no idea. All I do know is that it's going back. Waste of time.

Purchased to use on my gen 3 blink camera posted at my chicken coop. Plug in a one works right away, no button to switch to solar. Works great.

I live in Wisconsin, where this time of year is often cloudy. My cameras still work. All night long. Catching a minimum of 1 picture and video every hour, to 100s of videos all night long. I am definitely super impressed!

Bought two of these. I'm in a cold northern climate and so far they've held up amazing ! Nice and long cord. They keep our cameras charged! Wish I bought sooner !

Works good when sunny . But doesn’t support battery full day on cloudy day
