This DP3000 Matte box (M3) is universally designed to accommodate all DSLR's and camcorders and it compatible with any industry standard 15mm rail system.The matte box gives provides the user full lighting control and prevents glare and lens flare with its foldable french flags and adjustable side wings.It features precision engineered Swing-Away mechanism for quick lens changes.It also provides a means of using filters and one of the 180 degrees rotating filter trays and much more!This matte box will be your optimal.It will greatly facilitate your digital life.
Swing Away Type:
For changing lenses quickly, this unit features a swing away design at a 90 degrees and allows height adjustable. Instead of moving the mounting the matte box out, (which may be blocked by other rig accessories, or require rod extensions to fit), it can simply be slid outwards by just releaseing one blue button.
It comes with 2pcs of filter trays,and 1pc of the filter tray can be rotated by 180 degree. It is for 4x4" filter up to 4mm in thickness, which enable some high-quality filters to be used.
Coming with 2pcs of 15mm 20cm length rods.There are 4x 15mm compatible rod holes on the swing-away bracket,you can mount the 15mm rod according to your need to extend more accessories.
There comes 3pcs of flags,and both are foldable.Convenient for storage.Clip-in type,just release the lock button a little,then you can take the flags off with no boring releasing the buttons all off to process.Excellent extinction treatment inside of the matte box, can effectively block glare and reflected light.

Looks very heavy duty. I like the adjustable wings. I do wish you could change the elevation more.

Awesome mattbox, i was searching something not too expensive, I found this and believe it looks and feels awesome. The articulating part is not that easy to figure out in the firts few times.

it kinda sucks lol everything is very janky lots of cheap plastic and metal also very heavy not easy to balance just not that good

The price seems great for the features. The French flags feels good and seems to be good metal quality, however the turning mechanism that holds the French flags is placed in a way when you turn it forward, it loosens and you’ll have to tighten it with the Allen wrench when you find your stopping point.The trays for filters are plastic and feels cheap.The 15mm rail is to spec and will fit to your rail system. The swivel of the entire matte box works well. Height will depend on your setup.BUT it’s not centered, which is the biggest issue and makes it completely unusable. Perhaps there wasn’t a quality control? Perhaps I got a bad one? Either way, I’ve used more expensive matte boxes and would rather spend a little more money for higher quality.I wouldn’t recommend this product to others unfortunately.

Product showed up missing screws. The seller told me I was wrong. I sent photos and they still didn’t believe me. I went and bought screws to assemble it so I could use it. It is built poorly and makes rattling sounds and all the screws need lock tite to keep them from coming loose

I use it on a canon C 70 with a tilta cage the expensive ones did not work well this one at a third the price fits the camera well it does the job for me
