It was exactly what I needed it for, but unfortunately you have to remember even though it's a 4x6 that the inside is a bit smaller. It definitely said that somewhere but I didn't realize it until after I had to return it and get a larger 5x7. We used it to display a clay paw print for one of our dogs at the shelter I volunteer for that died.
