- Directions
This mandoline is not suitable for cutting too soft fruits and vegetables, such as tomatoes, bananas,onions.
The vegetable slicer can cut 3mm slice, and the thickness cannot be adjusted.
If you have not used this kind of mandoline slicer before, please wear protective gloves.
It's best to rinse immediately after use, so it's easier to clean.
Is the slicer stained?Don't worry about it.Use a rag dipped in cooking oil to wipe it.You will find that the color has disappeared.

I didn’t feel like paying a lot for this. This one had best price. I think it works great. Very sharp. The only con is it doesn’t feel too sturdy. It’s fine for the price. I didn’t expect high quality. But if you want something with better knives or stronger plastic then I suggest investing in a different one. Since I don’t use this a lot, this works great for me, I’m satisfied. If you will be using a lot, it might break if not careful.

Was surprised that it did very well when i julienne'd a cucumber, it came out nice and spaghetti like. The blades were surprisingly sharp. I am very pleased with this product. The blade was easy to clean. Its free standing so you'll need a plate or bowl to catch the food. The material is not high quality, but all i wanted was a sharp food slicer, it did not disappoint.

Good for price. The regular piece works perfectly and some of the others are alright. Gets the job done easy to clean

The blade comes loose as soon as i start slicing. The clip which is supposed to hold it in place is too small and is not able to fixate it. There is no click when i insert it in place. Also, the larger julienne slicer supposed to be 3MM but it is hardly 2.5mm. 3mm is outer dimension but the strings coming out are 2.5mm or less. Not big deal but why? The bigger the better?

It works well. Product of outstanding workmanship and material. I have used it for several months and it still working well with not problems whatsoever. Extremely easy to use and clear. WATCH OUT FOR THE TIPS OF YOUR FINGERS as the blades are very sharp.

This would be an ok product, but it doesn't have legs to stand on while your using it. I basically propped it on my stomach while slicing veggies, and ended up getting a lot of veggie juice draining onto me. Used once and trashed it to find a better product.

Ordered this shredder for julienne shredding (for carrots and beets mostly).It worked perfectly with both sizes! Tried shredding cucumbers and garlic. Still wow! Then tried a peeler for yams and carrots. Oh. My. Gosh. As much as I hated this task before, that much it’s going to be effortless going forward. Fast, efficient, convenient, perfect tiny peels for skin.I don’t know how sharp it’s going to stay going forward, but for the price - it’s just a GEM!Finally, chopped veggie bowls and all the salads I love, will be prepped more often, in minutes!Can’t wait to cut potatoes and radish, and, and, and….!Thank you Amazon and all the people who made it happen!

It's ok for soft vegs but not great for carrots or potatoes which is what I was wanting to use it for. The slicer (metal) feels really cheap and flimsy.
